Milos Forman and Vittorio Taviani, two great filmmakers, died

Czech filmmaker Milos Forman, whose American movies "One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest" and "Amadeus" won a deluge of Academy Awards, including best director Oscars, died Saturday. He was 86.

Italian film director Vittorio Taviani, who with his brother Paolo Taviani created masterpieces of the Italian cinema that claimed top honors at the Cannes and Berlin film festivals, has died at the age of 88.Their first big success came in 1977 when they won the Palm d'Or at Cannes for their film "Padre Padrone," about a shepherd in Sardinia who sought to escape his domineering father by educating himself. Paying respect to the departed souls.
